Both companies are top tier companies in the state of Wisconsin. Rockwell Automation specializes on industrial automation, manufacturing, etc. One of the largest industrial manufacturing company in the world. As for Johnson Controls, they are diversified leaders in technology and industrial industry. I have to say both companies has been on top of their league in terms of business and service. Both utilized Social Media tools like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ which I will be reporting below.

The first thing that brought to my attention about the Facebook account of Rockwell is the basic information they have available for their audience. A very good general synopsis of the company can really tell them apart from other companies.
I have to say their target audience is mainly from the industrial and automation sector. I keep hearing the word 'sustainability' and 'productivity' on their slogan so in order for them to further advertise their services a very good detailed social media portfolio is a must.

They have incorporate a very detailed and brief introduction video about the company. This really signifies what the company can offer. Posting videos on YouTube is really a good strategy to advertise the company.
Rockwell Automation Google+ account advertising events, fair, etc.
Rockwell also is also heavy posting out their own events, fair, etc. Google+ is one of social media trend that people used on a daily basis. Not only you can post your announcements on G+ but you can do collaboration and interact with other Google users.

To sum everything up both companies have their own strategy building up their social media platform but I have to say they are both effective, detailed and very easy to navigating. Simplicity is also important if you want users to have a good look and feel of your company.
