My blog post about iPad Air 2 Review from Twit TV

My blog post about iPad Air 2 Review from Twit TV

I just finished watching and listening about the iPad Air 2 review from Twit TV. I have to say there is no doubt that Apple products is one of the top electronic gadgets available in the market but from my own point of view there could be a better alternatives as well. Just looking at the new iPad Air 2 just makes me wonder what is the difference between this new iPad Air to the older version. Just she had mentioned on her video, "There was not a huge leap over the original iPad Air but still the best iPad money can buy" I have to admit paying almost $850 for tablet that is not much different from the original version is not a good deal. Considering all pros that you could have like Fast and Light, App Store, TouchID and Gold color option are not the kind of features some people are looking for. The cons that she mentioned there was No huge speed difference, Expensive for the top of line model these should be the deciding factor whether you will purchase this device. Just the device with 16GB with the Wi-Fi cost $499 while the device with 16GB with Data Plan cost $629! I have to emphasize that is a lot money just for a tablet. If you go with other brands that can give the same features or better yet better features, why be more expensive? This is just my own personal opinion about the new iPad Air 2.

The bottom line here is there are other brands that can give you the features that you really need without digging deeper into your pockets.

Here is quick comparison video of Microsoft Surface 3 vs. iPad Air, you will be the judge! :)

Every people has their own choice how to use Social Media, it can be personal, business or even for pleasure.

Rockwell Automation specializes on industrial automation, manufacturing, etc. One of the largest industrial manufacturing company in the world. As for Johnson Controls, they are diversified leaders in technology and industrial industry. I have to say both companies has been on top of their league in terms of business and service. Both utilized Social Media tools like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ which I will be reporting below.

Rockwell Automation

Facebook About Information

The first thing that brought to my attention about the Facebook account of Rockwell is the basic information they have available for their audience. A very good general synopsis of the company can really tell them apart from other companies.

I have to say their target audience is mainly from the industrial and automation sector. I keep hearing the word 'sustainability' and 'productivity' on their slogan so in order for them to further advertise their services a very good detailed social media portfolio is a must.

Rockwell Automation Introduction video

They have incorporate a very detailed and brief introduction video about the company. This really signifies what the company can offer. Posting videos on YouTube is really a good strategy to advertise the company.

Rockwell Automation Google+ account advertising events, fair, etc.

Rockwell also is also heavy posting out their own events, fair, etc. Google+ is one of social media trend that people used on a daily basis. Not only you can post your announcements on G+ but you can do collaboration and interact with other Google users.

 Johnson Controls

Johnson Controls Facebook Timeline

Johnson Controls Facebook timeline is very organize and up to date. A well-detailed timeline can really give the user such a pleasing experience on how the company started. Also on their FB account listed out are the applications the company uses like Twitter, Videos, etc. It is like all-in-one media tool stop shop.

Johnson Controls Twitter Account (+Johnson Controls)

This is the Johnson Controls Twitter account. Just by looking by it, they immensely show diversity among their employees. They have a very good and easy to understand business company handle.

Johnson Controls YouTube Homepage

Just like Rockwell Automation, Johnson Controls has a very good list of videos on their YouTube homepage. Telling about what kind of services they can offer to people.

To sum everything up both companies have their own strategy building up their social media platform but I have to say they are both effective, detailed and very easy to navigating. Simplicity is also important if you want users to have a good look and feel of your company.

Why I am here at MATC?

My first experience with MATC started when I moved out from New Jersey to Milwaukee, WI. I heard good things about this educational institution considering it is one of the top technical college in the state. I used to work as an IT Technical Recruiter for a local consulting firm in New Jersey. I do recruitment process from the ground up and all the way to employment selection. My company provides global IT solutions and innovative consulting services. From job placement, servicing client needs and distributing manpower, I was the all around technical recruiter the company has. After my 4 years stint with the company, I have decided to go back to school and further pursue my education. I was very confident coming over here to Milwaukee since majority of family relatives are in town. I have such a big respect in terms of family unity without them I don't know what to do and how I will survive. My family will always be there for me and they got my back!

When I first heard about what is the latest trend and going on with the IT Security, with no hesitation I chose to be in the Associate Degree in Information System Security Specialist program. The IT Security field is definitely one of the in demand job careers you can be into. With a number of hacking incidents, data and security breaches going on left and right nowadays, all companies should be on top of everything and be ahead of the game. IT Security is absolutely a must in order to sustain and continue what you have in the business.

My career interest is all about Information Technology. When I first got my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Philippines, I told myself that I want to be a well-rounded person that can fully understand the whole cycle of IT. Education gets me going and I believe that the more you are educated, the more you will succeed in life.

I am just 3 credits away from finishing my program with flying colors and I look forward for that day to come.

Thanks for reading my first blog and hope for more to come!
